Abstract

Malignant melanoma is a skin cancer that comes from melanocytes dermoepidermal junction. It is the least common skin cancer, but the most dangerous.

Constitute 1-2% of all malignant tumors and 5-7% of the skin tumors. Metastasizes early and often, metastatic melanoma is considered incurable.

According to some sources, causes 90% of all deaths from skin cancer. The etiopathogenesis apply genetic and constitutional factors.
