Shortly about the number of compatriots and compatriotic societies in the West Volhynia

Abstract

In this short paper will be discussed the number of non-reemigrated Czechs in the West Volhynia in the period from 1947 to the present and the compatriotic associations in the cities Rivne, Dubno (Rivne region both) and Lutsk (Volyn region). Data are resulting from research in the West Volhynia in July and August 2013 and from study of literature and archival sources.
