The author's ongoing research focuses on a municipality liquidated due to industrial mining - Kopisty. The thesis has two basic dimensions.
The first is the historical perspective based on which the author describes the municipality that was destroyed, discusses the reasons for its disposal and focuses on the everyday life of people who were evicted. The second is the anthropological perspective which serves to acquire knowledge on the present lives of displaced people.
The aim of the research is to compare the original life of the inhabitants with current situation - show liquidation process from the perspective of the local population and to describe their lives in the background of this breakthrough event. This paper describes the research phase in which the author has reconstructed the liquidation process.
