Language and society in the Czecho-slovak area in dynamic correlation. On the annual meeting 2012 of the Collegium Carolinum Munich in Bad Wiessee

Abstract

The article reports about the annual conference 2012 of the Collegium Carolinum Munich. Aim of the meeting was to trace the relationship between language and nation in the 19th and 20th century by means of the Czecho-slovak area as an example under the main aspect of language as a vehicle of cultural politics.
