Abstract
The explicit modern interpretation of "lege artis" will certainly stay domain of lawyers. The question is, how much and in what way will modern medicine be influenced by expectation of standardization in health care, especially under present economic conditions.
Modern medicine cannot be looked at as a simple meeting of doctor and his patient anymore, but it is necessary to reflect much wider social context.
