Reduction Processes in the Production of Spoken Czech: The Robustness of Phonetic Features

Abstract

The chapter focuses on the perception of reduced speech forms. The basic research questions in this field at present are related to the findings currently available for Czech, especially to the role of phonetic detail and contextual information, and their different importance which depends on the type of the reduced form.
