Radiogical Diagnosis and Management of Epistaxis

Abstract

Embolisation is used in the treatment of epistaxis refractory to previous endonasal or surgical therapy, including IMA ligation. Rare but major complication of embolisation therapy are maainly due to the penetration of embolic material into the intracranial and ophthalmic arteries.
