This book focuses on early poetry of Vladimir V. Mayakovsky (up to 1920) from viewpoint of linguistics.
It also takes into account Mayakovsky's art works, especially his posters from the same period. In its chapters the Mayakovsky's selected poems from 1913 until 1920 are analysed from linguistic point of view with special emphasis on following three categories: pronouns (especially personal and possessive), metaphor, and slogans ("lozungi").
