Abstract
Kamill Resler became famous after World War II as a Nazi criminal lawyer Frank K. H before the Special People's Court.
His professional and personal life, however, intersect the fate of many other more or less well-known personalities. Resler was not only an advocate of justice.
During his lifetime he was also a soldier, falcons, anarchist, writers, philanthropists, art lover, bibliophile and a patriot. Protectorate advocated for many Czechs from the totalitarian justice, often with no chance of success.
Ironically, it was after the war forced defense KH Frank retributions before the court. With a thankless roles lock horns with dignity and in spite of the contempt of the public with recognition from colleagues.
The book is a biography Kamilla Resler, from his birth, teen summer full of ideals, through legal beginnings of the First Republic, the defense during the war and after the war to its fate under the Communist regime. It brings many previously unpublished information - about the cases of where he worked as a lawyer, extremely rich personal life as well as a sorrowful end of life.
Very detail is handled by a chapter devoted to Frank.
