Abstrakt
The aim of the presentation was to show that foreshadowing differs in the various saga types. Foreshadowing in three different saga types, namely in family, king's and legendary sagas, was examined as to its form, content, time and geographic extent.
Based on these four aspects the main differences between foreshadowing in sagas have been shown. In the conclusion the possible causes of these differences were suggested.
