Abstract
Introduction to the book "Contributions to the constitutional and European law" that were on the topic fundamental nature, tasks and problems of the democratic constitutional state and the new order of an integrating Europe always concern of Herbert Beck shame. These were also content of his guest lectures, presentations and publications at home and abroad, where he also presented questions of public law from a normative and ethical point of view.
