Ethical Problems in Medicine at the beginning of the 21st century

Abstract

Memoirs systematically mapping the ethical problems in medicine at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. The publication is divided into four thematic units.

In the first analyzes the ethical issues at the level of general and historical context. There are discussed the current context of ethics in medicine and health care in general, but also the wider historical, but also legal and psychological context.

The second part is dedicated to the ethical issues which stands on the border between research and clinical work. Outlined here are the specific issues before the concrete solution in clinical practice medicine in today's world.

Third, the clinical section maps the state of ethics and ethical challenges expected in various clinical fields. The final section discusses some special issues - for example, the issue of death and dying, dehumanization in medicine and other serious effects.
