The paper Philosophy of Urban Space analyses the relation between transformations of the urban models and changes of the historical modalities of human being. It starts with the birth of modern idea of geometrical organization of urban space and follows its development in modern urbanism until the international style.
The second part is focused on the organic models characterized by the absence of the central point and the capacity of interconnectivity. The example of the model inspired by emergent development shows that it is necessary to take into account the bigness as it is underlined by Rem Koolhaas.
