Abstract

The article focuses on the war conflict between Spain and U.S.A. of 1898, primarily regarding the situation of the islands of Cuba and Portorico and the conflict that had presented the most immediate prelude to this confrontation, thus the so-called Second Cuban War of Independence of 1895/1898.
