Clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) and a treatment by glatiramer acetate

Abstract

Currently CIS is characterised as a first episode of neurological symptoms lasting more then 24 hours. The goal of disease modyfying treatment is reduce early clinical or subclinical disease aktivity and conversion toclinically definited multiple sclerosis (CDMS).

Our case report demonstrates a treatment of CIS by glatiramer acetate.
