Genesis and transformation Marian, Trinitarian and other saints columns and pillars of the Baroque period in Bohemia

Abstract
The article deals with the history of Marian, Trinitarian and other saints of columns and pillars in the Baroque period in Bohemia, with the introduction presents a brief summary of the genesis of this type of sculptural and architectural works in Europe before the first position of the monument of its kind in the country. The article focuses on the analysis of gradual transformation of formal solutions of these works in about 150 years.
One of the goals of this paper is to create a typology of these works on the basis of the evaluation and identifying the basic components that make up the overall concept and started up the main sources of inspiration for the gradual transformation of columns and pillars.
