Three phases of brittle deformation were identified in the body of Ševětín granite, inclusive their respective paleostress orientation. The oblique compression (oldest) phase is accompanied by intrusion of aplite dikes and by formation of NE-SW trending tension joints.
Intrusion of a microgranodiorite dike occurred during the strike-slip phase, under E-W oriented subhorizontal extension. The late phase corresponds to NNE-SSW to NE-SW oriented extension.
It is accompanied by formation of quartz-carbonate veins with local presence of galena and shalerite. Individual phases of brittle deformation of the Ševětín granite thus reflect stress and deformation during formation of the Blanice Graben.
