Pregnancy Outcome in Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathy Patients in a Multicenter Study

Abstract

The aim was to assess pregnancy outcome in myositis. 33 pregnancies were recorded in 23 patients. Fetal complications were associated more frequently with PM than with DM, with the disease activity before or during pregnancy and with the presence of autoantibodies.

Joint involvement also carried the increased risk for the pregnancy outcome.
