Students' books, invisible obviousness

Abstract

The book presents the results of research on students' books at Czech elementary and grammar schools. Student book is not considered only as a tool within educational process, but mainly as a instrument of socialization and individuation.

Specific chapters are focused on students' books as the platform for school-family communication, as identity development project and as instrument for disciplinary.
