Abstract
A bachelor's degree study programme in addictology has existed at the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague (the 1st Faculty of Medicine) since 2005. The master's programme was introduced in 2008.
At both academic levels, full-time and part-time formats are available. A doctoral study programme in addictology (specialization in healthcare), also on a full-time and part-time basis, was accredited in 2012 (this accreditation also applied to its English variant, which makes the programme accessible to foreign students).
The first postgraduate students enrolled for the 2012/2013 academic year. At the moment, three years after it was launched, there are 13 students enrolled in the programme and they are supervised by five trainers.
