Abstract
The article describes personality of prof. Jan Dominik, one from the best and most respected cardiosurgeon in CR.
The main topic of his interest is surgery of valvular apparatus of the heart. This was the main topic of his scientific and publication activities.
He was the main author of the monograph "Heart valve surgery", which was also published in to English and Chines language. Except laudation in the article there is expressed pleasure, that prof.
Dominic continues his active surgical life with us.
