Abstract
The article compares two autobiographical texts from 1930's of two Danish migrants, a male and a female author, to Argentina. It examines differences and resemblance in topics connected with leaving one's home country and settling in a new one from the male and the female perspective.
A brief history of Danish migration to Argentina and some of its special features are given in the beginning of the article.
