Doctrinal fight for European antitrust - from where to where the competition policy and law of the EU is heading?

Abstract

Study is devoted first to the issue of how directly and how deeply can the different doctrines of antitrust infuence the competition policy and law of the EU. Then the focus turns to the historical development of EU antitrust seen from the perspective of different antitrust doctrines or economic policy discourses impact.

Final part then deals with the current aproach of the European Commission and the EU Court of Justice to the issue of goals that should be followed by the EU antitrust.
