Abstract

The paper deals with a possible criminal punishment of so called cybergrooming, a psychic manipulation via information and communication technologies for the purpose of sexual exploitation. It is also concerned with a new offense of establishing illicit contacts with a child (§ 193b of the Act no. 40/2009 Coll., The Criminal Code), which reflects some of the issues relating to the sexual exploitation of children in connection with cyberspace, especially the need to criminalize earlier parts of cybergrooming.
