Abstrakt
A conjecture of N. Suzuki and N.
Watson is disproved. It is shown that solid caps of heat balls do admit densities possessing mean value property with respect to temperatures.
On the other hand, it turns out that no such volume mean density exists for domains which are slightly wider than a heat ball.
