Chapter analyzes the generation-based poetry and critical concepts that emerged in the years 1924-1934. It is concerned with those features, which aim at expressing synthesizing aesthetic opinion.
It focuses mainly on conceptual, based polemical work by Karel Teige, František Goetz, Bedřich Václavek and Bedřich Fučík. It also focuses on the use of critical and theoretical ideas in the works of poets and novelists, affected by such theoretical and programmatic concepts.
