With Art Education in the Room N. 13.

Abstract

The author refers to spatial, rhizomatic and intertextual notions of culture, visual arts and subjectivity in the context of current research in art and gallery education. Non-linear models of education based on transpositions, displacement and compositions of narratives, artefacts and subjectivities into new creative pedagogical events are introduced.

Examples are taken from educational programmes connected with the Exhibition Decadence Now! And Room N. 13 in Galerie Rudolfinum and Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
