Languages in the Written Practice in Bohemia, such as in the Texts by Matthaeus Meisner.

Abstract

The lecture concerned the aspects of using and choice of languages (German, Latin and Czech) in the written practice of the 16th century in the texts by the humanist Matthaeus Meisner (1543 - after 1600), who mostly lived and worked in one of the German-speaking and Czech-speaking regions in the Czech Lands - in the Northwest Bohemia, especially in the Ore Mountains.
