This paper describes a group of production centres (wine, olive oil) in Roman Histria and Dalmatia in the context of Late Antiquity. The sites are connected with two specific phenomena: a rustification of urban life and Christianity.
In Histria only 4 production centres and in Dalmatia 13 production centres were built in Late Antiquity. In these sites we may clearly observe how serious social changes in Late Antiquity were.
