Czech-Brazilian and Czech-hispanoamerican relations: educational excursion to Eastern Bohemia with a workshop
Abstract
The educational excursion is understanded as an extension of the lessons, in the sens of application of different methods (genealogy, iconography, archive studies) in the interdisciplinary research on the Czech-Latinoamerican relations in different areas (evangelization, emigration, trevellers and others). This one was dedicated to Eastern Bohemia and Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, comprehended a visit to an archive (Chrudim - emigration), the castle of Chotěboř (the Brazilian Imperial family and descendants), Žďár n.
S. (the castle and Zelená hora - the Bohemian Barock and the veneration of St. John Nepomuk and its divulgation in Latin America) and Velké Meziříčí (Museum - unique example of pictorical document with relation to the Bohemian jesuit missions in Latin America).
A workshop on related topics was organizated.
