Abstract
In the autumn of 2012, the first meeting was arranged between a representative of Charles University in Prague and a representative of M. K.
Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University in Yakutsk on a possible cooperation between these universities within the education of pre-service and in-service teachers in science subjects. With the approval of management of both parties, a preparatory phase of Partnership Agreement was initiated as a historically first agreement between these universities in the field of education.
