This paper presents the results of the study focused on the handwritting expression of the pupils during the third grade of the elementary school - comparing the ordinary writing and Comenia Script usage. The first aim of this paper is to describe the typical written expression of pupil in the third grade.
Secondly, for the evaluation of the results, there was a need to adapt the Veverková and Kucharská assesment scale, which is only used for first grade pupils. The core of this paper is the pupil handwritten quality comparsion within both handwritting methods.
The paper also highlights potentional problems.
