From the History of Polish Language Teaching in the Czech Republic. A Few Words about the Textbook "Učebnice polštiny pro posluchače kursů polského kulturního střediska v Praze" (1961-1968)

Abstract

In the year 1961 in Prague appeared textbook for learning Polish by Theodor Bešta, Viktor Juřina and Antonín Měšťan "Učebnice polštiny pro posluchače kursů polského kulturního střediska v Praze". The publication consists of two parts, was re-released in 1968 under a different title "Polština pro posluchače kursů polštiny pořádaných Polským kulturním střediskem v Praze".

The theme of this paper is to analyze both publications in terms of contents and value from the point of view of the then methods of teaching Polish as a foreign language.
