Charges and capacity - simple experiments to develop physics understanding

Abstract

The paper describes a workshop that took place at the conference. In the workshop the participants could try or see simple electrostatics experiments aimed at interaction of charged bodies and building the concept of capacity.

The experiments ranged from simple qualitative ones to quantitative measurements. In this article, some of these experiments are briefly mentioned and links to papers where the experiments are described in greater details are presented.
