Abstract
The chapter considers 'qualitativeness' and 'relationality' as two semantic features which may be combined in the individual realizations of adjectives. The author uses some traditional relational adjectives to exemplify the way in which each adjective used in a particular context may be analyzed and in which its form and function in language may be understood.
