Abstract
Object of this study are personal testimonies in the documents of Přemyslid rulers of the princely period. Specifically, the study analyzes the charter of King Vladislav I. for the Hospitallers of Prague from the year 1169 , in which the ruler recalls his unsuccessful participation in the Second Crusade during the years 1147-1148.
