Abstract
Following mainly the autograph of the second book of the Zbraslav chronicle the author deals with the method of working of their second author, the abbot Peter of Zittau. While in the retrospective part of his chronicle Peter of Zittau records memories and information of his witnesses of the events, and brought them with the documents and letters in chronological or factual series, he wrote the contemporary history continuously, usually with some , but not too large time interval to the events.
The time interval allowed him to file some letters from his correspondents in a chronological series and complete his narration. He interpolated then the later collected information and put it additionally in his text.
