Abstract
The text works on the assumption than an anthology is the representation not only of the meaning of the texts of which the anthology is pomposed, but primarily a display of the editor's attitudes towards these texts as well as the "norm of the day" at the time por preparing this anthology. Editing texts in Translation Studies, however, poses problem rooted not inly in issuer characterising texts or this academic discipline (language, metalinguistic and methodological issues), but also include a certain predefinition of "reception norms" in the target public.
