Abstract

The goal of the study is present on changes in kinematics of the support phase in running under controlled speed in depenedence on the used shoe-types (without shoes, clasic shoes, minimalist shoes). 12 subject conduct the experiment. Each subject was running 30 s on the treadmill under different shoe conditions.

Last 10 s were analyzed by Qualisys system. The results prove different settings in ankle and knee joint at the touchdouch.

Barefoot and minimalist shoes running is characterized by higher degree of extension in both joints. This should be associated with higher antagonist co-activation to ensure better transfer of force between segments and to ensure better posture.
