Custody in Proceedings in Cases of Juvenile Offenders after a Decade of Juvenile Justice Act in force

Abstract
The article deals with the issue of custody in cases of juvenile offenders and current trends in an imposition of a custody on juveniles in the connection with changes in Juvenile Justice Act (in force from January 2004), with practice of courts, including application of custody substitutes, comparison with some foreign regulations and evaluation with principles contained in important international documents in this field.
