Abstract
The analysis of the results of a representative survey carried out in the CR in 2013. It resumes the background of the study of intimate partner violence and it demonstrates basic prevalence and main determinants of this phenomenon.
It deals also with the role of partner configurations (based on self-control) and it examines the influence of the previous experience (in family, etc.). It opens the question of an efficient help for victims.
