Abstract
The paper describes research and activities carried out within the frame of the project Popularization of Science, whose goal is to make mathematics and natural science more appealing to upper secondary school students, to motivate them to study at university and to facilitate the transition between upper secondary school and university. Within the project, students are offered two types of activities in the area of mathematics - online courses for students in the final years of upper secondary school and lectures for classes.
