Abstract
The Kalevala seminar was organized by the Scandinavian house and the section of Finnish studies at the Department of Linguistics. Papers concerning the foundation stone of the Finnish literature and culture, the important work of the world literature, the epic poem - or "epic poem" of Kalevala, were presented.
The speakers were Czech specialists on Finnish literature and students or graduates from the Finnish studies in Prague.
