Proof of sociomapping validity based on team position

Abstract

A long-term observation of four teams showed that the communic ation with team leaders was evaluated as more important than the communication with regular members. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that the communication with newcomers is lower than it is with permanent members, and that the desired communication with leaving team members is lower than it is with permanent members.

These statistically relevant (p < 0.001) findings can be considered as proof of the validity of the scales used by Sociomapping to evaluate mutual communication
