Heathen Religion in Old Norse Provincial Laws: Case Studies Concerning the Period of Religious Change

Abstract

The article presents four case studies concerning religious attitude of Old Norse provincial laws. On this base, the article attempts to describe the nature of religious change in mediaeval Scandinavia.
