There was an extensive technical transformation of miller's trade in 19. and 20. century. New branches of science, which were focused on miller's trade and grain growing, came into existence.
The social and economic structures affected by economic crises, wars and newly born states changed. In this difficult situation the declining miller's trade in the Czech countries was extensively modernized.
The main goal of this contribution is to show technical modernization of miller's trade in the Czech countries and the factors which affected it.
