Abstract
The paper is focused on the transformation of the miller's trade in the first half of 20th century in the Czech countries During this period are evident changes that are applied in the technology of milling machines and the transformation of the social status of the owners of mills and millers. Traditional Czech craft is gradually transformed into a modern industrial sector.
The Object of this paper is to introduce factors, which changed the view on the miller's trade and its further development.
