Educational history of literature. The first Czech encyclopedias and literature

Abstract

Studies on the foundations and principles of the first Czech encyclopaedias (Rieger encyclopedia and Otto's encyclopedia), in terms of literary history and literary issues and controversies. The Encyclopedia depict contemporary state of knowledge and professional discussion in the changes in the second half of the 19th century and early 20th century.
