The Impact of Occurrence of Abnormal Solar Events on Mortality in Diseases of the Circulatory System

Abstract
The dependence of aggregate daily number of deaths in diseases of the circulatory system according to ICD-10 on the occurrence of abnormal solar events was investigated. Analysis was performed for a period of solar cycle No.23 (years 1994-2011) in the Czech Republic.
The computation was implemented in the SAS environment and cluster analysis in time series applied to dynamic systems. Differences were shown for maximum solar activity and during the ascending and descending epoch of the solar cycle.
