Study comments a large retrospective exhibition by František Kyncla (1934-2011) which was organized by the Society of Topič Salon in Topič Salon and Topič Club. The exhibition which covers 40 years of Kycl's art, with the focus on so called "monostructures", space structures made from wooden sticks or thin bamboo mostly on the principle of tetraedr.
Apart from Buckminster Fuller who used his modular principle for architectural austerity and Sol Le Witt who demonstrated ideality of ideas, Kyncl built his objects as organisms respecting the inner laws of growth, unlimited expanding of forms into surrounding universe. The principle of monostructures the artist develops in geometrically regular paintings on hand-made paper.
The exhibition is accomplished by a small retrospective of Kyncl's wife Elsa.
